What instead of dentures?

If you lose many teeth or edentulous, the most common solution is dentures, i.e. denture. Thanks to the prosthesis you can get rid of many problems caused by missing teeth. But if it is not well suited or is not properly treated, it can lead to a number of new problems.

Irritated gums and mouth

Some denture wearers have a yeast infection that is caused by a yeast infection. prosthesesif they are not well matched.

Moving dentures

Tooth loss disrupts the relationship between teeth and bone. The gum and bone are no longer sufficiently stimulated by the teeth and theirs roots and therefore bone of the jaw begins to fade and the gums decrease. When this happens, the prosthesis becomes loose and needs to be adjusted. Loose dentures can cause painful pressure in some places, as well as painful inflammation. The denture fixation creams give only temporary relief and should be used sparingly. Frequent use of an increasing amount of such a cream can be tedious, time consuming and often unpleasant for people wearing dentures.

Difficulties eating, talking and smiling

Everyone who wears a prosthesis certainly knows this feeling when they can't eat what they like. Or maybe even feeling uncomfortable, smiling or speaking in public, because of the fear of falling out of the prosthesis in the presence of other people.

How can dental implant solutions help?

It is widely believed that dental implants are the most effective method currently used to rebuild missing teeth because they provide many significant benefits to patients.

A natural smile

A modern dental implant looks like a real tooth. Its color, shape and contour are adapted to be the same as earlier teeth. The result will be a natural smile that will restore confidence and quality of life. Well-being will also return with new shiny teeth visible on the outside.

Eating and speaking correctly

Did you have to give up your favorite dishes after losing your teeth? Do you feel uncomfortable during a conversation because dentures or missing teeth prevent you from speaking clearly? Dental implants will restore all the functions that real teeth performed. No matter how hard, crunchy or pulling dishes you like, thanks to dental implants they will return to your menu. And also allow you to speak clearly during long conversations with friends.

A healthy jaw bone and teeth make your face look younger

Solutions related to dental implants stimulate bone of the jawthat may have suffered for years of wearing a badly fitted denture. Dental implants trigger a process called osseointegration (from Greek osteon - bone) overlapping the jaw bone, during which the implant joins the bone and maintains its current position. There is even more good news! A sufficient amount of jawbone and a full set of teeth from the inside supporting the lips can provide a younger appearance.

Stable and well fitted

Forget about uncomfortable, sliding dentures. Due to the fact that dental implants are adapted to the jaw bone, this solution is more stable and convenient than dentures. In addition, they are made of materials biocompatible, which means that the human body will tolerate it well.

A long-lasting and effective solution

Dental implants are very durable. Thanks to proper care and good oral hygiene, implants will last for many years and even for the rest of their lives. Decades of research into their functionality and stability have passed since the establishment of the first patient in modern implants in 1965. And this solution is still developing.

It is believed that treatment with implants is a long-term investment in health and well-being - that is, an investment in life. Compared to other reconstruction methods, the costs may seem higher initially. However, higher maintenance costs, greater jaw bone loss and eventually loss of more teeth can make other restoration options even more expensive in the long run

All-on-4® treatment concept

It is a solution related to the use of dental implants designed for people without teeth. If your teeth need to be pulled out or you no longer want to live without teeth, the All-on-4® treatment concept may be the right solution for you.
Only four dental implants are enough to restore all missing teeth using the All-on-4® treatment concept.

This technique has a number of advantages:

Shorter treatment time, lower costs. The small number of implants needed when using this concept significantly reduces treatment time, and often makes the solution more cost-effective than other comparable options. The very complex way to place implants in the back of the mouth makes it a treatment option for patients with significantly reduced jaw bone due to years of living without teeth.
Teeth permanently on the day of surgery. Depending on the individual condition of the teeth, the dentist can attach a temporary bridge to the implants on the day of the procedure. This means that you can leave the office with a full set of teeth and return to daily activities. After a certain time of healing, the dentist will replace the temporary bridge with the final one created in the dental laboratory.
Talk to your dentist to find out if the All-on-4® treatment concept is the right solution.

Denture on two implants

In the absence of complete teeth (edentulous or mandible), the basic method of treatment used for decades was to make full dentures settling on the mucosa. Long-term use of such dentures leads to loss of the appendix bone, which may cause the lack of foundation for the next denture after several years. Full dentures cause considerable discomfort during use. The use of commonly available denture adhesives is often not enough to maintain it properly. This causes stress that the denture may slide or even fall out at any time.

The prosthesis on 2 implants solves all of these problems.

Prosthetic work is attached to the ground (implants implanted in the bone) using retention elements. These elements in the form of balls or tenants are attached to the implants. The prosthesis has places for attaching a ball or other retention element attached to the implant. All elements responsible for maintaining the prosthesis are replaceable if necessary.

The denture attachment system on retention elements (balls, locators) significantly increases the comfort of wearing the denture. This solution completely eliminates the prosthesis falling.
