AESTHETIC DENTISTRY
Aesthetic dentistry treatments make the dream of a beautiful and healthy smile come true. With their help, it is possible to eliminate discolorations, lighten the color and even change the shape of teeth. As a result, the teeth are not only straight and white, but also match patient’s facial features and profile. Restoring and giving harmony to the smile often means improving the proportions and symmetry of the face, thus affecting the attractiveness and youthful appearance of the patient. However, the changes brought about by aesthetic dentistry treatments are not only changes in the appearance of the smile, but also the improvement of the patient’s well-being, increased self-confidence and improvement of one’s possibilities, both in private and business relationships.
Doctors involved in aesthetic dentistry perform procedures such as teeth whitening, digital smile design, smile simulation, bonding, porcelain veneers (including non prep veneers), and dental crowns.
VENEERS
Healthy teeth are not always a reason to be satisfied, because nature equips us with various imperfections, such as uneven ones or too large gaps between them.
Their unattractive appearance holds us back from smiling widely. We often neglect it ourselves by drinking large amounts of coffee, tea and colored drinks.
Visible discoloration is impossible to remove even with perfect hygiene. If the above-mentioned problems concerns your teeth, we offer you the perfect solution – veneers.
Veneers are small, thin flakes made of durable dental materials. Made in any shape, they recreate a dream, ideal tooth form, and after being sticked to its surface, they mask fillings, discolorations and other imperfections. Thanks to the possibility of creating any size and shape of veneers, they allow you to change the appearance of the entire smile.
The result of such correction is obtaining the effect of perfectly straight and equally colored teeth, which are adapted to the patient’s facial features and figure.
BENEFITS OF THE SOLUTION
Elimination of any visual imperfections; optical correction of tooth position and deviation; patient-selected tooth shape and color
PROSTHETIC CROWNS
Features of an ideal smile are not only the color of teeth, but also their shape, size and proportions in relation to the face. Prosthetic crowns allow for the reconstruction of teeth that have been significantly damaged as a result of e.g. caries, fractures, erosion or abrasion of the enamel.
In some cases, it is even possible to camouflage malocclusion and tooth crowding. There are several types of prosthetic crowns that differ in the material from which they are made. At Dental Fraternity, we usually make the highest quality all-ceramin dental crowns, which are characterized by high aesthetics, durability, precise fit and biocompatibility.
The comfort of using prosthetic crowns is the same as in case of your own teeth.
BENEFITS OF THE SOLUTION
natural look; high durability; high aesthetic level
BONDING
Bonding is a non-invasive method of aesthetic tooth restoration. We use nanocomposite resins to make it possible to get rid of unsightly stains, brighten the color of teeth, replenish abrasions, chipping and chips, and even close diastemas.
The effect is achieved immediately, but it is temporary (bonding durability is estimated at 3-5 years). Before bonding, the teeth must be cleaned of decay and the periodontium must be healthy. The procedure is completely painless. A more durable and natural-looking alternative to bonding are porcelain veneers.
BENEFITS OF THE SOLUTION
Reduction of tooth damage: cracks, chippings, splinters; elimination of discoloration; improvement and unification of tooth color; elimination of curvatures and irregularities; alignment of shorter teeth with longer teeth; giving teeth the desired and aesthetic shape; elimination of diastema
WHITENING
Whitening is a chemical process in which undesirable tooth color is removed by oxidizing the molecules responsible for discoloration.
There are 2 basic types of teeth whitening: tray-based whitening and faster, in-office whitening.
TRAY-BASED WHITENING
Tray-based whitening is carried out by the patient at home. Patient on his own chooses time of the day when the whitening will be performed.
IN-OFFICE WHITENING
This kind of whitening is performed during single visit. It is possible thanks to the use of the latest technology that uses blue light. It activates the whitening gel, which accelerates the oxidation process, that means, the process responsible for the whitening effect.
IN-OFFICE WHITENING “BLANC ONE CLICK”
This is an in-office whitening method lasting only 10 minutes, which can and even should be combined with a hygiene treatment. After removing tartar and plaque, BlancOne gel is applied to the teeth. It is then irradiated for 10 minutes with a dedicated lamp dedicated.
This whitens teeth by a minimum of one tone. This is the meaning of above mentioned “Click.
IN-OFFICE “TOUCH” WHITENING
“Touch” whitening is a treatment that achieves an intense teeth brightening up to several tones despite the low concentration of peroxide. Immediate effects persist up to 9 months.
BENEFITS OF THE SOLUTION
short treatment time; quick and visible effect; painless
VENEERS WITHOUT GRINDING
Veneers are thin “flakes” with very high mechanical strength. They bring an amazing aesthetic effect! With the help of veneers, it is possible to lighten a tooth, give it a beautiful shape and color, lengthen it, widen it, restore abrasions or eliminate gaps between the teeth. Non-prep veneers are veneers that do not require enamel preparation (in other words, grinding). Each vital tooth with a non-preparative veneer changes its appearance, shape and color, while keeping the structure of the enamel tissue undamaged. Ultra-thin veneers, compared to traditional veneers, do not require prior preparation of the tooth.
Once the patient approves the smile design, it only takes two visits two weeks apart to enjoy the smile of your dreams. In addition, by choosing porcelain veneers, we can achieve an extremely natural effect, because porcelain, due to its translucency, is the best imitation of natural tooth enamel. The durability of porcelain veneers is estimated at 15-20 years.
BENEFITS OF THE SOLUTION
high aesthetic value; possibilities of shaping and correcting the appearance of teeth; high durability

WHAT MATERIALS ARE VENEERS MADE OF?
We distinguish porcelain veneers and composite veneers (and alternatively acrylic veneers, which are used as temporary ones).
WHICH VENEERS ARE BETTER?
Unlike composite veneers, which reflect light, porcelain veneers retain translucency, in other words light transmission, so that in different light and its intensity they maintain the effect of flawlessly beautiful and natural teeth. In addition, they can be given color, degree of saturation, translucency, as well as characteristic features of the teeth such as discoloration or enamel cracks, making them perfectly imitate natural dentition. In addition, veneers made of porcelain are more durable than composite veneers and do not deposit plaque and tartar.
IS TEETH GRINDING ALWAYS NECESSARY BEFORE PLACING VENEERS?
Grinding the teeth surface before placing veneers is aimed at correcting their imperfections in order to achieve the best possible final visual effect. However, this is not an essential element and it depends on the specific clinical situation, sometimes it is possible to make so-called non-prep veneers, that is, without grinding.
DOES TEETH GRINDING HURT?
Teeth grinding within the superficial layer of enamel is always performed under local anesthesia, so you won’t feel any pain!
BONDING, VENEERS OR WHITENING?
Bonding is a way to quickly restore teeth with moderate degree of damage. However, it should be remembered that composite materials after a certain period of time get easily damaged and look less aesthetically pleasing, in contrast to porcelain veneers, which are applied permanently and are characterized by greater durability and resistance to damage. Although the price of bonding is lower than the price of porcelain veneers, in the long run the cost of making and maintaining them is comparable.
For example, the durability of porcelain veneers is estimated at 15-20 years, while the durability of a composite filling is up to 5 years (which means that bonding is replaced 3-5 times more often to maintain the effect of a dream smile). In addition, by choosing porcelain veneers, we can achieve an extremely natural effect, because porcelain, due to its translucency, is the best imitation of natural tooth enamel.
Bonding, just like whitening, additionally gives the opportunity to change teeth color, but in case of second option, it is not possible to rebuild the tooth crowns.
Dental bonding is a procedure that has become very popular over the past few years. It owes its phenomenon primarily to satisfying and very quickly visible effects, which, unfortunately, although they are temporary, allow you to enjoy a beautiful and snow-white smile.
HOW MANY VISITS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE VENEERS?
There are usually 2 visits. The first visit is to prepare the teeth, take an impression/scan and place temporary veneers. The second visit is to cement the target veneers.
Before placing veneers, all teeth must be healed, and cleared from deposits and tartar. Our patients also have a prepared future smile project, which they can test and create together with the doctor.

WHAT ARE THE INDICATIONS FOR PLACING VENEERS?
Veneers are recommended e.g. in the case when the tooth shape requires correction, there are discolorations or hypoplasia of the enamel, there are unsightly composite fillings on the labial surfaces, diastema or spacing of the teeth and mechanical injuries.
WHAT DOES THE PREPARATION FOR THE VENEER PLACING LOOK LIKE?
Grinding the teeth surface before placing veneers is aimed at correcting their imperfections in order to achieve the best possible final visual effect. However, this is not an essential element and it depends on the specific clinical situation, sometimes it is possible to make so-called non-prep veneers, that is, without grinding.
TYPES OF VENEERS - HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT?
We distinguish veneers made of composite, acrylic or porcelain. Acrylic veneers are used as temporary restorations and are intended to protect the tooth before a target veneer (composite or porcelain) is made.
Composite veneers are a cheaper alternative to porcelain veneers, but they are subject to discoloration and their durability is much shorter.
Veneers made of porcelain are nearly 5 times more permanent than those made of composite, plus they do not deposit tartar or plaque so they preserve their color. Unlike composite veneers, which reflect light, porcelain veneers retain translucency, in other words light transmission, so that in different light and its intensity they maintain the effect of flawlessly beautiful and natural teeth.
VENEERS CARE AND MAINTENANCE. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SHOW UP FOR A FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT?
You should take care of veneers just like of natural teeth, that means, they should be brushed at least twice a day, dental spaces should be cleaned with dental floss or an irrigator, and you should attend a professional hygiene treatment and a dental check-up twice a year.
